Parents are welcome to watch from the sidelines. We’ll introduce your child gradually, with games, close coaching and time to get comfortable.
We’ll lend a clean gi
There’s no uniform to buy before the trial. Bring a clean, fitted T-shirt and comfortable athletic clothes to wear underneath. If your child already has a gi, bring it along.
Arrive 15 minutes early
Once we’ve confirmed the class, arrive 15 minutes early to meet the coach and settle in. Bring water, and let us know anything that would help your child feel comfortable.
A second try is welcome
Some kids need time to warm up. They can watch, pause and join at their own pace. If the first visit doesn’t give them a proper chance to try, we’re happy to arrange a second class.
